True Flight Equine is now Offering Specialized Hunter/Jumper lessons, training, and boarding at our new facility located less than 10 minutes from the Duke University Hospital. Both trainers live on-site and have a B.S in Equine Science specializing in Hunter/Jumper training and instruction. We currently offer lessons and training on your horse or ours to take you and your horse to the next level. From the beginner rider to the rider looking to show on the AA circuit; and the weanling to the seasoned companion, we will create individualized plans to take you where you and your horse want to go. We offer individual and small group turnout, feeding 2-3 times daily, hot/cold water in the spacious wash rack, free choice timothy/orchard hay, no additional charges for blanketing, feeding supplements, holding for the vet/farrier. We are a women's no competion barn. We all enjoy each other's company and like to ride alone and with each other. We have 15 rolling acres and full turnout unless it is an ice storm or an injury when we do have stalls. We have trails out from our farm and are always interested in kind, soft eyed horses and women to join us. My job is to take care of your horse as you would like them taken care of within the limits of what we do. I don't believe that horses enjoy being locked in a stall. We are looking for quiet, well behaved horses that we can offer half off board if they are lightly used in our program. Students start bareback and must earn their saddles and then cloth reins on halter, later bitless bridles and only experienced riders use bits. Helmets and boots on all afterschool and Women's Intuitive Riders. On site managers who care for your horse as you would yourself in as natural a setting as possible. We are a no drama barn of middle aged women who are happy to ride together at times and alone at times. Non competitive atmosphere where we can just enjoy our connection to our horses. Equestrian Arts Institute is a full-service boarding, training and lesson facility. We specialize in eventing and dressage. We give lessons ages 6+, beginners through advanced riders. We are one of the only eventing facilities in our area that offer staff horses for lessons. We have two eventing teams that compete throughout NC and VA.
