Firefly Farm and Riding School is now offering horse boarding,training, lessons and leasing.

Lessons are offered for beginners who are just starting out to the more advanced riders who want to move toward showing or owning their own horse.
Offering private or small group lessons in horsemanship, English pleasure, western riding, beginner dressage and hunter/jumper.

Boarding:
Full Board is offered at $400 per month.
Subdivided pastures - horses are pastured in small, compatible groups
12-stall barn for use during inclement weather - cleaned and bed daily
100x150 ft riding arena with sand footing - we have a few jumps and are adding more!
60 ft round pen
individual tack lockers
feed 2x daily - Southern States Select or provide your own and take $25 off of board
hay fed as needed
RAMM high-impact flex fencing - very safe!
wash rack
air conditioned break room with refrigerator
trailer parking
barn manager lives on site and monitors horses throughout the day

We accept a limited number of horses (10 maximum) to our facility to ensure that each horse receives the best available care. Horses at Czechmate Stables come first. Our boarders and students ranges from business professionals to young riders, who enjoy riding for pleasure or show, but who are all devoted to their horse. Our customer base includes boarders from varying professions and students ranging in age from young children to older adults. Our riders receive instruction for various riding disciplines, including preparation for shows and events if so desired by the student. We are a women's no competion barn. We all enjoy each other's company and like to ride alone and with each other. We have 15 rolling acres and full turnout unless it is an ice storm or an injury when we do have stalls. We have trails out from our farm and are always interested in kind, soft eyed horses and women to join us. My job is to take care of your horse as you would like them taken care of within the limits of what we do. I don't believe that horses enjoy being locked in a stall. Half board options for horses that we can gently include in our lesson and camp program. This is the home of the Women's Intuitive Riding program. We have a round pen, grass ring and all season ring. We are looking for quiet, well behaved horses that we can offer half off board if they are lightly used in our program. Students start bareback and must earn their saddles and then cloth reins on halter, later bitless bridles and only experienced riders use bits. Helmets and boots on all afterschool and Women's Intuitive Riders. On site managers who care for your horse as you would yourself in as natural a setting as possible. We are a no drama barn of middle aged women who are happy to ride together at times and alone at times. Non competitive atmosphere where we can just enjoy our connection to our horses. Miles of private trails and two riding rings as well as pastures to ride through. We also have two paddocks that could be used for ponies or minis in need of dry lot care. Equestrian Arts Institute is a full-service boarding, training and lesson facility. We specialize in eventing and dressage. We give lessons ages 6+, beginners through advanced riders. We are one of the only eventing facilities in our area that offer staff horses for lessons. We have two eventing teams that compete throughout NC and VA. In 2009 we started a drill team that performed at several different venues.

Our facility boost 30 stalls (10-12x13 Main Barn, 10 standing stalls, and 10 pony stalls), along with 2 hot/cold wash stalls, farriers station and vet station.
