Stonepine Equestrian is located one mile beyond the Carmel Valley Village at the site of the historic “Double H Ranch.” It is comprised of 407 gated, acres with 3.5 miles of groomed trails. Disciplines for riding opportunities include dressage, hunter/jumper and western pleasure. The upper barn includes eleven stalls, two wash racks, a euro walker and access to multiple trails and arenas to perfect one’s showmanship. The lower barn includes eighteen stalls, five turnouts, two grooming stalls, two wash racks and numerous tack rooms. California’s moderate weather conditions make Carmel Valley an ideal location for equestrian training and individual boarding.

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your skills, I offer personalized horseback riding lessons tailored to each rider’s goals and experience. My teaching style focuses on building a strong foundation in horsemanship, emphasizing safety, communication, and understanding between horse and rider.

I believe that riding is more than just technique — it’s about developing a partnership with the horse, growing confidence, and having fun along the way. Whether you’re learning groundwork or simply gaining more comfort in the saddle, I’m here to help guide you on your journey.

330 acre private horse boarding and training facility. We have two dressage arenas, two jump arenas, an open training arena, two round pens, three and a half miles of hill country trails, and a four furlong race track. RK Stables and Performance Horses is a 24/7 onsite staff facility, daily stall cleaning, misters, fans, auto fly system, wash bay with heater and hot/cold water, cameras, round pen, covered arena, large outdoor arena, turnout, and security gate into the facility. Our boarding and training facility is focused on our western style performance riding. We thrive on the daily care of each horse ensuring we provide the best feed, daily workout, vet, farrier, and training programs. RK Stables specializes in western performance horses training daily on each horse with a specific program designed to help the performance of the horse and rider get the best possible results for both. Training on poles and barrels are essential and of course one of our main goals is winning and staying safe however, a key function within our training program is the groundwork, flatwork, lead changes, pattern placement, flexibility and fitness, proper warm up and cool down, improving times in timed events and more. We are a boutique style barn with huge sandy paddocks! We have happy relaxed horses! It is a quiet barn with extra large sandy dry in the winter paddocks. We have a covered fully lighted sand and crumb rubber arena. We have a round pen, a perimeter path and obstacles filled 100 by 200 pasture. Happy relaxed down to earth folks who simply love their horses. A variety of riding styles with a number of visiting trainers. We feed 3 times a day and clean every day.
