Clark Performance Horses offers a variety of instruction and advertising for the youth and non-pro competitors. We offer group and individual instruction as well as fitting, training, and showing for competitors in the areas of Showmanship, Halter, HUS, Equitation, Western Pleasure, Horsemanship and Timed Events. Students of Clark Performance Horses have excelled at the local, state, regional and national level and have gone on to become successful and competent riders and handlers. We offer full time and part-time instruction as well as onsite show assistance. Our Training program emphasis' on each individual horses learning rate and type and making a happy, safe, quiet, and fit show animal. Boarding is also available, please inquire for available stalls. We are a private home, feed 3x per day, have miles of easy access trails and open space, clean the facilities daily, provide 12x12 stalls that open to a common corral (40x70), and a 90x70 corral with a 12x10 stall, and have, in addition, a round pen for additional workouts. Across the street from us is a 280 acre open space preserve. Our groomed trails lead you to the 800 acre Elfin Forest Preserve. We also have trails leading into the San Marcos trail system and the Rancho Santa Fe trail system. We have been providing horse boarding since 1994.

Many of us participate in monthly gymkhana events (one of us won top honors in their category last year, another just started competing this year). Trail riding is also high on everyone's list of activities. Trailering is available, but you could get all the way to Julian just by riding out the gates. There is usually someone to go riding with.

Currently we have an Arab mare (13 years old), a Tennesse Walker Mare (9 years old), two Paint mares (8 and 18 years old), and are looking for another horse or two. We are located in the Elfin Forest area, which is a small rural horse community adjacent to Rancho Santa Fe, Escondido, San Marcos, Olivenhain and Carlsbad. We charge $395 per month for the above.

High Meadows is located in Ojai, California; we are thirty minutes inland from Ventura off beautiful Sulphur Mt. Road. The property has a seven stall barn with outside runs, five large outside pens and two pastures. Extremely easy access to miles of the most beautiful trails. Our large arena has good footing that is worked twice a week. Our VERY affordable board rates start at $320 per month for an inside stall, $270 for an outside pen and $196 for pasture. Nestled in a historic citrus Orchard, Friends Stable is a peaceful setting to enjoy riding and spending time with your horse. We offer a variety of boarding options. 24x24 paddocks with roof shelters, 24x 24 paddocks with 3 sided shelters. 24 x32 paddocks with either roof shelters or three sided shelters. 12x12 box stalls with various sized runs 12 x24 box stalls with various sized runs.
