Windy Acres Farm is located on North Quaker Hill Road in the heart of the historic Quaker Hill Estate area. This equestrian center is a family run boarding, training and rehabilitation facility for all types of horses and riders. The family rarely hires outside laborers preferring to be solely in charge of the horses in their care. The aim of this facility is to provide the best quality of care in the feeding, turnout, and facilities. Although the farm is not a full service facility, preferring to keep costs to a minimum for the client, every effort is made to provide any service needed. Board is $1000 a month

One of the unique features of Windy Acres is the lush turnout provided to each horse. The pasture provided is commensurate with the needs of the horse but every effort is made to turnout as much as possible. The family is a firm believer that horses are meant to roam outside and not to be solely in a stall. Dee Dee continues to be a member in good standing with the USEF (United States Equestrian Federation), that governs horse competitions across the United States. Whether you are looking to be a secure pleasure rider, Foxhunter, or show ring competitor, Dee Dee has a relaxed but highly technical style of instructing, that works for riders of all ages and skill levels. She is also a very competent and thoughtful sales agent, who has put together hundreds of successful horse/rider combinations. Throughout the past 40+ years, Dee has had success coaching children and adults in all three major rings at the local and "A" horse shows. Dee Dee has also spent time in the Equitation rings. She has qualified Jr riders for the Maclay, the Medal, PHA, and USET Finals. She has had success on the Florida circuits, and the Virginia Horse show circuits as well.
