The former home of 5 H Acres, a renowned training facility for riding instructors. The roots of this historic farm run deep and have been a beloved home for riders both past and present. Rechristened Crown Hill Farm due to its proximity to Cortland, the Crown City. We hope that you enjoy your visit to our farm as much as we do having you! We are a unique equine facility in Cortland NY offering a variety of equine services. From boarding to lesson to clinics, and more, there is something for everyone! The care, comfort, & safety for your horse(s) is our number one priority. We care for them as if they were our own. Additionally, we strive to provide immaculate facilities for both horse & rider. We are located conveniently off of I-81 in Homer (Exit 54), directly off of Route 90 and Route 281 (West Road). We are located 40 minutes from Syracuse, 45 minutes from Binghamton and 30 minutes from Ithaca.

As a saddle fitter and trainer, she provides a unique advantage in finding the perfect saddle fit for your horse, ensuring their comfort and well-being. From intro to Grand Prix, all breeds and disciplines encouraged and welcomed. Valerie has ridden internationally and had the amazing opportunity to train in Portugal. Individualized care is important to you and to us. We are an 18 stall horse boarding facility that offers 30 acres of well-maintained grass pasture for turnout. Nutrena grain twice a day, including supplements purchased by owner
Hay fed four times a day
Turnout and turn in in lush green pastures with wood fencing
Blanketing and fly spraying
Full use of: dust free indoor arena, dust free outdoor arena, grass arena, and bridle paths
Stadium jump course.
Two full size dressage rings
Cross country course available. For safety, rider needs to be in a lesson with our trainer

Heritage Stables currently has stalls open and available for boarding. Heritage Stables is a hunter/jumper show stable offering full care boarding. Stalls are all 12'x12' with unlimited bedding. Heritage Stables offers a very spacious indoor arena (80'x200') with a heated viewing room. We also have two beautiful outdoor arenas (120'x350' and 110'x250') with a gorgeous view of Skaneateles. We offer daily turnout- horses can be put in a group or have single turnout. Heritage Stables also offers two full-time professional riding instructors from beginners to nationals. Commercial horse boarding business with big time friendly atmosphere. Green Gate Farm is a clean, safe, drama free and friendly boarding facility. We have been boarding horses on this property for 25 years and boarding in general for 30 years. We have very well trained and highly experienced adults supervising, cleaning, training and giving lessons at our facility. Owners live on the property and are very active in the day-to-day operation. Horses are grained and hayed 7am and 7 pm with turnout on rotated grass pasture for 4 -6 hours per day. Extra hay is given when turn out is not possible. We have a 140 long indoor arena, 100x200 outdoor arena, and newly installed 60 ft round pen. All footing is maintained weekly and addressed yearly. We are a family orientated farm on 30 acres of beautiful pastures and woods. We currently can house 12 horses. we provide a safe and secure environment for your horse as well as individualized care. We have 10x10 stalls in main barn and 12x12 stall in a second barn. We are close to the Oswego/Cayuga County trails, we have some short trails on premises. If you enjoy riding the roads they are quite with minimal traffic. We provide full board at $400 a month which included daily turnout, 2x day feeding, hay, stalls cleaned.
