Lower Cross Farm is a small, relaxing stable in Saddle River New Jersey. Lower Cross Farm is home to 12 loving horses. Some which are boarders and some which are our very own. All three of our Welsh Ponies are USEF National and/or, Reserve Regional and/or, National Champions. Also one of our ponies is inducted into the horse stars of fame. Lower Cross Farm offers lessons Monday - Friday. Lower Cross Farm lessons are great for beginner riders and more advanced riders as well. Green Acres Horse Farm is the home of Horsemanship4Life.com an online learning academy for equestrians of all disciplines. The farm is also conveniently located right next to Higbee Beach preserve which includes riding trails to Higbee Beach. In addition to our 100 x 200 indoor riding arena and 50 ft indoor round pen, we have an outdoor honeycomb for riding patterns and liberty work, a track around the pastures for riding cross country training jumps in and out of pastures and straight line canter work. You are welcome to invite your own trainers with appropriate vetting. We have a canopied pasture for day time summer turn out for horses that can't be out all night as well as dry lots. There is a heated tack room for boarders as well as a heated viewing room. We have state of the art filming equipment to record your lessons for future review on line thru Horsemanship4Life, where ever there is wifi you can view your lessons on, computers, phones, and tablets. This is a unique facility with a hands on staff that understand horses and owners needs. We are not cheap but we provide excellent service with wonderful amenities. Bathrooms are handicap accessible.
