Split Elm Equestrian, run by the Morrongiello family, was founded in November of 2000. Split Elm I (the kid's barn) is a 22 acre facility with an 15 stall barn and four paddocks. This farm features a 50x150 indoor arena, a complete jump course with show quality jumps and a small dressage arena. Split Elm II (the adult's barn) is a 43 acre property with another 20 stall barn and six paddocks. This farm features a 7/8 mile sand track, some trails, a jumper course, cross country jumps, and a standard size dressage arena. There is a friendly and professional staff, under the guidance of Ginette Michelet, who has 35 years
with horses. She has competed successfully in Eventing and Dressage. She is known for her training of young horses and re-schooling of older ones. Her riding lessons are a fun learning experience for rider and horse.

The farm is also conveniently located right next to Higbee Beach preserve which includes riding trails to Higbee Beach. In addition to our 100 x 200 indoor riding arena and 50 ft indoor round pen, we have an outdoor honeycomb for riding patterns and liberty work, a track around the pastures for riding cross country training jumps in and out of pastures and straight line canter work.
