New Horizons Farm LLC, home of New Horizons Haflinger Sporthorses on ten beautiful acres in Bath, Michigan, just outside of East Lansing is a private breeding farm which averages nine horses on premises including boarder horses. Stall board and pasture board available. Pasture horses have use of a stall during severe weather. Conveniently located just 3 1/2 miles off of Interstate 69 (Bath exit) on 1/2 mile stretch of paved road. Owner lives on premises and has over twenty years experience breeding, raising, showing horses. Multiple paddocks and pastures of varying sizes to meet your horse's needs, some with three and four board fence and others with coated wire/electric, almost all with large run in three sided sheds. Winter paddocks have extra large/extra tall 24 x 12 three sided steel run in sheds and access to automatic heated waterers. Ten stall horse barn with insulated roof has six 12 x 12 spacious, bright, matted stalls with large windows and four @10 x 12 stalls with windows that easily convert into double stalls for foaling. Attached 18 x 32 heated two story addition has tack/lounge area with a keuring coffee maker for those cold days, microwave and small refridgerator downstairs, and bedroom (for foaling season)/office upstairs. Outdoor wash rack. Horse friendly community with miles of dirt roads to ride on, or trailer your horse to Rose Lake riding trails just a few miles away, or Sleepy Hollow State Park riding trails about ten minutes away. Only twenty minutes from MSU, excellent farrier and vet services available. Spacious 60 x 110 indoor arena with excellent footing (2NS sand over limestone fines, compacted) treated for dust. Free horse trailer parking. Outdoor grass arena is approximately 70 x 200 with old footing from indoor under grass. Most paddocks and outdoor arena tiled for drainage so they stay dry. Excellent quality grass (or grass/alfalfa mix) hay fed. Tribute Essential K and owner provided grain and supplements fed. Perfect situation for the right people looking for drama-free environment with great boarders. References available from our clients and references required of new clients. Pelleted bedding used in stalls except mare and foal stalls, which use straw at foaling time. No stallions, but mares and geldings welcome, including pregnant mares. Also a great situation if you are looking for a safe place to retire your horse. Horses turned out in small groups or private turnout possible. All horses receive top-notch individualized care. DH’s Rosewood Farm, LLC is looking for new boarders. We are located at 8304 East ML Avenue, Kalamazoo. Easy access from Portage, Kalamazoo, Galesburg and the surrounding area. Our facility has a barn with 27 stalls, a 60x120 indoor arena, outdoor arena, a round pen, 10 grazing pastures, and several riding trails. We are a small private Barn with only 18 stalls. Barn has radiant in floor heat through out kept at 50-55 all winter, makes for easy grooming and spending quality time with your horse. 10X12 stalls are wall to wall matted with heavy ¾ inch rubber mats. Stalls are plywood lined (no edges) for your horses’ safety. Each stall has its own automatic water, Permanently mounted shedding light wired to a central timer if needed. Overhead fan controlled by a thermostat that turns on/off automatically. Heated tack room with security code for each boarder. Security cameras through out entire facility to ensure the utmost in safety. Heated wash rack with large drain and hot and cold water. Laundry with washer, dryer and laundry tub for sheets leg wraps etc. Heated bathroom. Large 72 X 140 indoor arena. Arena has 6 foot of clear panel on each side for lots of natural light. 60 foot round pen. Individual turnouts each with automatic water. Horses do not go out together in the same paddock for safety. Turnouts based on weather and footing but generally 4 to 8 hours per day. Super clean facility. We also offer rehabilitation for injuries with a very controlled environment and elderly horse care.
