Four Seasons Stables offers an overhead lighted rubber indoor arena which is connected to the indoor stables, an indoor viewing area, an outside arena and lunge area, indoor heated wash stall, numerous flat (no mud) grassy pastures for daily or group turnout as well as local trails. Stables are cleaned daily, odor free, matted stalls with you choice of bedding (pellet or shavings), along with fresh water, hay, daily wormer, rotating wormer and daily supplements. We are a private (full)boarding stable only. You can tack, ride, groom and wash your horse all without going outside. We do not offer training, but you may bring your trainer here. Heron's Crest Stables at Forge Works Farm is pleased to announce a new horseback riding lesson program for all ages and abilities! We offer small group and private lessons and we are not the typical cookie cutter riding program. Our focus is on safety first, to learn proper horse care, horsemanship, to understand the equipment that is used on the horse, and to have fun! Masconette Farm is a 26 acre equine boarding and training facility conveniently located off Route 83 in East Longmeadow, Western Massachusetts. We are just minutes from the city of Springfield, MA and close to Somers, Connecticut. We have been in the business of training horses for over 50 years, 2nd generation and welcome all breeds of horses and disciplines—from English to Western, pleasure, trail, competitive, show and carriage driving and all levels of riders. We provide full board care and facilitate means of training, post injury rehab, layover and rehabilitation programs. The facility consists of the large main barn and a second smaller barn with spacious, well lit and ventilated stalls built for horses. Our second to none 1/2 mile stone dust track is SPECIFICALLY constructed for horse training, riding and carriage driving.
