Glendevon is a 115 acre family farm offering a welcoming & fun atmosphere along with highly skilled training & riding instruction. Owner Leslie Deering has been training and teaching for nearly 30 years. She herself trained with an Olympic gold medalist. Leslie's students have become A pony clubbers and Advanced level three day event riders. Leslie also enjoys getting horses and riders out fox chasing safely and with confidence. She's fox chased in MD, VA and Ky for over 20 years. *Making dreams come true while working within a tight budget is another of her talents! * The farm supports a range of pursuits including showing, foxhunting, breeding, eventing, 4H, pony club & pleasure driving, and training of all ages and levels of horse & rider. We are a boarding,training, and hunter/jumper barn offering lessons, leases and horses for sale or consignment. This facility is one the most beautiful places to keep your horses, giving them the chance to be turnout in lush green fields and stay in airy, matted, double mucked, fluffy bedded stalls. Horses are fed up to three times a day. Turnout is flexible allowing your horse to go out in a group or in a private field. We have a brand new riding arena with blue stone footing that is dragged daily with new jumps. There is also a 14-acre field with cross country course soon to be created.
