Southern Grace Farm is a 56 acre MHBA Licensed Horse Boarding Facility. (TRAIL RIDES and RIDING LESSONS)
Boarding:
Our FIELD CARE option is $275 per horse per month. Our field care horses are brought in and fed daily. We use Fiber Plus.
We also offer PRIVATE SELF CARE paddocks $400.00/month. Each self care paddock has a run in shed with two or three stalls, a tack shed, water and electric. Each paddock can accommodate up to three horses. Board is per paddock not per horse.
Our FULL CARE board is offered for $475/month. NO HIDDEN FEES. Our stalls are a FULL 12 x 12 with rubber mats and sawdust bedding. All stalls are mucked out daily and stripped out weekly, sprayed and re-bedded. All stalls have water at the stall and individually operated stall fan. There are three high volume fans in the 12'x96' isle way. Horses are fed hay and Fiber Plus two times per day. Hay is in the pasture for free choice. Horses have day time turn out in the winter and are in at night. Summer schedule, Horses in during the day under fans and out at night. Our full care barn offers a hot wash stall and three sets of cross ties. We have a lounge for your convenience with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, vending machine and an ice machine so you can fill your cooler before leaving for a show or rodeo. We have a restroom complete with shower.
Our RIDING ARENA has lights and is 120' wide x 200' long, and is a sand/clay mixture. We groom the arena every week. We offer cavaletti's, jumps, poles, barrels and trails, both on and off site. We have free trailer parking. No extra fee for administering supplements (Owner provided). No fee for administering medication for up to 7 days.
RIDING LESSONS, we offer English and Western Riding Lessons to children 3 years of age and up. Children under six years of age, lessons are 30 minutes at $40.00. Children 6 to adult, lessons are $60.00 per hour. We provide everything you need, with the exception of a helmet.
RODEO EVENTS, our instructors teach Poles and Barrels. Keep in touch as we expand to roping, goat tying, and break a-way roping!
GUIDED TRAIL RIDES are a favorite! We offer three different rides:
ONE-HOUR ride $60.00/person. This is a ride around our beautiful farm. Mostly flat land, a creek crossing and a small hill.
TWO-HOUR ride $120.00/person. This is a two-hour ride around our beautiful farm and a neighboring farm. Mostly flat land, a small creek crossing and beautiful ride through the woods.
THREE-HOUR ride $150.00. Our three hour ride to Apehanager's Bar and Grill travels mostly on flat land, a small creek crossing, a small hill, crossing a train track. Enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch. Food purchased separately).
All of our trail rides are suited for non experienced riders.
