Sommers Lane Equestrian Center is a full-care boarding and training facility located in Cicero, IN. The facility is semi-private with only 8 stalls available to outside boarders. This allows maximum customization for each horse and boarder. Our facility is designed to accommodate riders and horses of all ages, disciplines and riding levels.
We are dedicated to SAFE and SUCCESSFUL riding for all disciplines. On-site owner and trainer teaches biomechanically correct riding, which is the foundation you need to succeed in any/every discipline.
We believe even the highest level of sport horse can be exactly that.. a horse. We offer 12-16 hour daily turn out, non-grain-based diets, low sugar and starch hay, herbal supplements, and barefoot trimming.
We have lesson and training packages available for everyone.. trail rider to serious competitors, horses needing a tune-up, or horses with serious behavioral issues.

We are a full service boarding, riding instruction, training and sales facility specializing in combining the disciplines of Dressage and Jumping.

Boone Ridge Stables, 33 years in business, is a safe and congenial horse farm located in the agricultural district of Zionsville. Horse board of $700/month includes daily turnout, stall cleaning, feeding 3x/day, hot bran mashes in winter and paste worming every 3 months. Feed and care is individualized to match the specific needs of each horse. The farm has white 3-board fencing, rolling pastures, double-fenced dry lots, interesting terrain with a pond, creeks and wooded areas. Construction of new twin barns with 25 stalls and full-sized indoor riding arena was completed in December, 2016. Climate controlled bathroom, laundry and kitchen were completed in 2017. Grooming courtyard, outdoor turf dressage arena and hunter field were completed in early summer 2018. Climate controlled lounge with viewing window into the indoor arena was completed in 2019. There is also easy, safe access to 15 acres of trails in the adjacent woods. Custom built tack lockers were installed in 2022. Maelstrom Farm offers various boarding opportunities. Our goal is to have happy, healthy horses and owners. We offer a customized feeding program using Excel Feeds. All horses have the option for daily turnout. We have a beautiful indoor arena (100' X 150') and an outdoor arena (175' X 250') that has a judge / parent's viewing box as well as a lounge where you can view the outdoor arena.
