Horse Boarding in Dover, Florida (Hillsborough County)

Located just 10 minutes east of I-75 at the end of Fruitville Rd. and only 5 minutes from Myakka River State Park. Horses at True Blue Farm enjoy green pastures for 6-12 hours every day (weather permitting) and live in a clean, safe barn while receiving care of the highest standard from dedicated staff. Horse training and riding instruction are available in hunters, jumpers, and some dressage. This facility is small enough to provide privacy but large enough to allow for more social group activities. The beautiful, white fences, knowledgeable staff and healthy, happy horses make this ranch a rare find. We are currently taking reservations for our 6 brand new 10 x 14 stalls, all with rubber mats. Full board consists of: feed, hay, stall cleaning at least once per day, minimum daily turnout of 6 hours, mane pull, blanketing, and night check. I offer affordable, top quality horse boarding. Full horse boarding includes Seminole feed twice daily, hay twice daily (3 times in the winter), monthly de-sander, bran once a week, blanketing in the winter, daily fly spray, turn out with one other horse on grassy pastures. I have places to ride off property and also a large 120x200 ft. clay riding arena that is spun and watered on a regular basis. My fields are scooped and cleaned daily. I have paddock board or stall board. Full board with a stall includes bedding.
Owner lives on property with a gated access. Tack room is available for all your tack. Wash areas, cross tie posts.
I have a no drama, family friendly barn. There are picnic tables and a covered area to sit by the arena. The arena has barrels, cones and trot poles to use.

HIGH AND DRY PROPERTY - HURRICANE RATED BARN. After Hurricane Ian, and Debby: we had minimal pasture flooding - approximately 70 percent dry pastures! ...barn remains dry and comfortable. We do offer hurricane/storm board when stalls are available.

Includes Quality western and Canadian hay, Tribute feed, grass pastures in rainy season (grass does go dormant in fall and winter) we do feed ample hay to compensate. No extra cost for meeting with the vet, and/ or farrier. We are equipped to handle minor wound care at no extra cost. Also includes transport to local parks for trail riding on occasion. Includes fly masks on/off and spray for flies.

We are located East off I75 (Clark Road Exit), SARASOTA. Exactly 15 minutes from the interstate. A hurricane rated barn, and whole house generator means you won't have to evacuate your horse. We specialize in taking the worry about your horse/s off your mind. We strive to keep them comfortable with fresh stalls, and water refreshed to encourage hydration. We care for yours like ours, not a cliche' 3 or less horses turned out together (if compatible, and after quarantine period). Onsite professional supervision (this is our job, we aren't leaving to go to a 9-5).
