Katrina Zorn is the trainer at Sommersby Farms in Oviedo. She has over 25 years of experience riding, training and showing hunter jumpers. Developing a personalized training program with short and long term goals for your horse is the primary goal of our horse training program.

Upon entering our training program your horse will first be evaluated and a plan of action will be established using natural horsemanship techniques and the power of positive influence, in order to diagnose potential training issues and developing a training program specifically for your horse and the purpose intended. Through ground work your horse will be brought along quietly and slowly to ensure your horses confidence. All of our horses are cared for on an individual basis and we are dedicated to maximizing each horse's potential, while keeping them sound, content, confident and happy.

We accept young prospects, show prospects and competitors, laid up prospects that require being brought back carefully. We exercise 6 days a week with one day rest with our competitive horses. We create an appropriate program to ensure the best possible outcome for your horse.
