I do High quality work ( not fast work ) taking new well behaved horses. Farrier of NRHA World Chapion Reining Horse ( 2018-present.) grew up showing Halter,Pleasure,Speed, in 4H, moved on to Quarter Horse shows in western pleasure, got a Reining horse in 2017 who won the world open title and top 10 all open finishes 2018. Therapeutic Farrier Practice of over 15 years

My practice is taking on new clients:

I have recently moved my farrier practice of over 15 years to the South West Florida area. I specialize in performance horses primarily, extensive experience with OTBs, and therapeutic and corrective work including foals. I have the equipment and knowledge to build any custom package that may be required including custom made glue ons. My primary focus is on balance and proper mechanics. I have an engineering degree from Virginia Tech which has helped me develop a solid understanding of mechanics, balance, and loading of the hoof and leg. As well I have been involved with horses for over 30 years and handle every situation in a calm and practical and efficient way. Before relocating my practice I was the primary farrier for Wolfcreek Equine hospital. As well, I took many referrals from both Leesburg and New Bolton equine hospitals. I also do lectures and clinics. I look forward to working with you!

I am an American Farriers Association Certified Journeyman Farrier servicing the south central, west, southwest Florida areas. Well-established, honest, knowledgeable, patient and punctual are a few attributes of my farrier practice. My skills include but aren’t limited to; balanced hoof trimming, cold and hot horseshoeing, therapeutic applications, pre-purchase consultations, vet consultations, and certain modern material applications.
