Jason is an American Farriers Association Certified Journey Farrier. He attended the Eastern School of Farriery and has been serving East TN, Southwest VA and Northwest NC since 2004. He has had the privilege of studying and working with some of the countries top farriers and was selected as a farrier for the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games. He prides himself in taking his time to provide top quality shoeing that meets each horse individual needs.

I am a barefoot hoof trimmer and also a trainer. I work with the animal's best interest in mind. For example if a horse is older, and cannot hold her leg in a specific position - I will find a way that is comfortable for her.

And, as a trimmer, I seek to balance the hoof, build a sole callus, and finish with a beveled "mustang roll".

Young or green horses are welcome. If the horse requires extensive handling, I will do a full training session for $60.

$50 per trim for horses, ponies, mules and donkeys.
I trim goats for $15.

I went to farrier school and specialized in shoeing lameness cases with veterinarians up until 2020 when I moved to Tennessee. I chose to move away from traditional shoeing and now focus mainly on barefoot horses with the occasional glue on or composite shoe client. I can also fit and supply boots!
